COMMISSIONS
We talk.
01.
We begin with a consultation to discuss your vision, space, and preferences. You’ll gather reference images from my work along with any meaningful motifs or ideas.
The concept.
02.
I develop a concept for approval. Once confirmed, a 50% deposit begins the work.
Painting commences.
03.
Once approved, the painting begins. Timelines typically range from 5–10 weeks depending on scale and complexity.
Review and Refinement.
04.
When the work is complete, you’ll receive a photographed preview or visit the studio for an in-person viewing. One complimentary revision is included.
Completion.
05.
Once finalized, the painting is prepared for delivery or pickup.
Optional Varnish.
06.
Varnishing is available approximately six months after completion if desired.
ABOUT J.M. BOND
I work primarily in oil, building stories through paintings carved with light and shadow. Each piece develops deliberately in relation to the space it will live in. I’m interested in paintings that tell a story and hold their own in a room.
